Disney is at it again.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has called for a boycott of Disney owned Hulu after the streaming service on Thursday announced an unauthorized, eight-episode miniseries of the former heavyweight champ, titled "Iron Mike."

Disney doesn't really own Hulu until 2024... the offer has been accepted but the transfer has not actually taken place

There have been so many of them to date I am surprised there is any further market for them
He was a great boxer for 3 years. Back in the mid 80s. 3 years. Decades ago.

Afterwards what is he?
A running joke as a cameo in movies everywhere from America to China
And a voice actor on a bunch of cartoons

Historically he has nowhere near important to boxing world, and boxing itself has been supplanted by other sports these days

Series is about him, Mike Tyson. He didn't give them an OK to produce it nor is he getting paid. Regardless of how he's ranked in boxing presently, his name is recognized worldwide, it's a brand.
Can't just use it without paying royalties.
