Hmmmm.
Too bad, MSE seemed nice.
Looks like it's time to go back to Avast whenever I go back to running W7 for the little time Windows is used.

I got rid of MSE and went with AVAST.

What are the alternatives with the right price?
Right now, on peoples computers who run windows (I don't), I set up:
-Avast (Virus Scanner)
-Comodo (Firewall)
-Spybot Search and Destroy (Malware remover and it blocks malicious sites)
-CCleaner (Cleanup and it lets you disable auto-started services)

And anything but IE and Outlook if you can help it, and try OpenOffice instead of MS Office if you can. All of the above are free to use at home, and work well in my experience.

I used MSE when I got my new Windows 7 PC, got a nasty virus and kicked it to the curb. No damn good, IMHO.
