Erin O'Toole shouldn't be talking about abortion on the campaign trail, it reduces his chances of forming a government - but that's what Charles McVety wants. Justin shot him down by declaring only a woman has the right to make decisions about her body. I agree with this, Charles McVety doesn't have a uterus.

That's the problem with the current Conservative Party, there are no Progressives left. They were purged when Mulroney attempted to curry favour with the Reform Party. Eventually Jean Charest went into Quebec politics and Peter McKay prostrated himself and licked Stephen Harper's feet. It's a sad state of affairs since Justin Trudeau is incompetent but a good campaigner.

Personally, I feel sorry for Erin O’Toole. He is a red Tory trying to get the Conservatives to be more progressive and relevant to today’s societal norms and away from the extreme right wing oppressionist philosophies.

He was asked a direct question
He provided a clear response to a direct question and made his position clear
Something Justin Trudeau should learn to do
Justin is actually quite rude when asked a difficult question saying nothing or pretending the question was never asked.



It is a contentious and potentially divisive issue
However Erin O'Toole' s position is that he is prochoice
Who does that offend right or wrong ? - some social conservatives ?
Alright, assume they are offended.
will that drive them to vote for:

1. The NDP ? hmmm, well, umm, sigh . ...... NO
2. The Liberals? hmmm , God no .
3. The Greens -- why waste your vote ?
4. Mad Max? He is all about personal freedoms - So no
5. Erin O'Toole? - by process of elimination- Yes

There is risk they do not vote at all , however anyone with an ounce of conservatism in them knows how important it is to remove Justin Trudeau from power.
