Does anyone know what it takes to get on a the ballot for the mayoral race in T.O?

hmmm good idea. I believe there is an office at city hall to register for this and it costs money. lots of money.

Here's the info on what it takes to become a candidate. The outlay of funds to get on the ballot doesn't seem like a lot, i.e. $200. Anybody game?

Thanks Vidi for the link..... My first priority for the city of Toronto would be to force Lastman to leave the city for good! Then of course, set up the red light district. Any other suggestions for a successful platform?

I think you need a cleptomaniac as a wife, a couple of illigitimate kids and a big mouth with no brain.

Unfortunately, Mel is the only one I know of who qualifies!

We should bring back the Yonge St. mall complete with all the body rub places etc they had back in the '70's.

If I am not mistaken the main reason behind all the body rub places being closed down was the molestation & murder of the young shoe shine boy.

Every so often that 'UGLY' story resurfaces in the press for one reason or another.

Any attempt to try and bring back those days would surely result in a major uprising by the general public.

We can hope & dream for those days but I do believe thay are gone for good.
