If a mention of Secret Venues gets a thread deleted, why is it ok to post about masquerade?

Not quite correct - it's usually links to SV or references to reviews on SV that gets posts deleted.

We had a difficult working relarionship with SV and decided we would part company with them. On the other hand, not only do Masquerade advertise here, our relationship with them is very cordial.

What Xaxir said is probably true also.
