This little boy asked his mom how do lions make love. She said: "I don't know because your father is a Mason:p."

there is a lot more than just that documentary!!!!! There are some temples in the GTA.
I happen to know a few masons and when I ask them for their secrets they say, there aren't really any secrets but sorry I can't tell you anything about it.

I have been told however that masons will look out for each other to the point where they will cover up a minor infraction to save a brother. Also the preference in deal making will always go to the mason brothers.

You may not be that shocked to know that a majority of cops are masons.

Again, nothing sinister about Masonry. It is a benevolent, fraternal organization that looks out for its members the same way that the Mob or the HA's or the Liberals look out for their own....nothing sinister about it at all.
Joking aside, any coverup that may occur by a Mason on behalf of another Mason would be strictly between those two parties...it's definitely not something required or dictated by the organization.
Lots of cops may be masons, also lots of firefighters, but also accountants. I'm former Canadian military & that's where I first got involved.....I was hoping it would be like the "Stonecutters"

Surprised you would admit that in an open forum like TERB, especially if you were, but hey!

Well, since membership in Freemasonry isn't illegal, and since Seth Gecko isn't my real name, I didn't see the harm in it.......I'd be more disinclined to admit to anyone that I'm registered on a board of this nature (not that there's anything wrong with that).

And Lonecoxxman is right in his comment that it's boring.....I'm also involved in Rotary and those guys are WILDMEN, considering the average age of members was in the mid-to-late 60's.

Service clubs, fraternal societies (outside of Frat houses at university) like Freemasons, Rotary, Elks, Orangemen, etc really don't have the membership draw that they used to generations ago.

On a related note, "The Man Who Would Be King" is a pretty good adventure movie about 2 Masons in the time of Raj.

Don't let MB hear you because he'll want to give you a quick lesson on the Pyramid builders of Egypt and their famous strike.

Funny enough the masons are traced back to the Egyptians whom were well know for their accurate and elaborate building skills.

Could this be why the wives of the masons usually join the female version of the masons known as 'The Daughters Of The Nile'.

Contrary to this invitation, masons are not allowed to approach others for membership (part of the code of conduct). Usually, the wife of a mason is the one that will approach the subject with asking if someone is interested in becomming a mason. This potential candidate can then ask the mason and they will guide them in joining.

..... and so the spooky eyeball on the pyramid is for real and not just for show. You think, good call.

They're here, they're there, they're everywhere, so beware.

So what's with the 'secret' funny handshake and the second finger knuckle massage. It's so secret and yet it's not.

too much of religious aspect for me, but hey.

Relax. It's a joke, not a threat. The pig latin "secret note" to my brethren was in jest. I guess the proper interweb protocl is to add a smileyface after every attempt at comedy lest the reader and the writer don't get each other. My bad.
