He had has some legal and mental health issues.
Most unfortunate, for him, his family, and his victim (alleged).
His family believes he may have suffered from C.T.E.

I wondered if he was related to legendary linesman Matt Pavelich, but apparently not. Sad to see someone decline mentally due to probably repeated head injury. Bobby Orr still has his faculties because few people think with their knees.
