Hey guys,

With the #4 pick in our keeper league I have the option of grabbing RB Barber of Dallas or RB Brandon Jackson of Green Bay?

Any advice who you think has the better keeper potential and be more promising?

Both are young, Barber gets the red zone carries while Brandon Jackson may be starting in Green Bay as a rookie

100% Barber or did you miss last season ?

Barber will get the Td's and way more carries than last year to boot.

Jackson is still unknown and who knows. Plus GB will be down 21-3 in so many games and forced to pass more.

I watched all of last year......LOL. Just thinking more in terms of keeper potential that's all...I figure Barber will do better also, just wanted to get some input from you guys also.

Your points about Jackson is valid, I agree he's unproven and Favre will be chucking it alot.

i'm just fooling around.

I think Barber will be getting the majority of attempts per game by week 8 and the next year Jones or whatever his name is will be gone for the boys.

I'm hoping for that also...Just hate at times to pick a player hoping he gets the red zone carries since his numbers are based on that....

As well, you might want to take a quick peek at the O-line. A bigger and better O-line will allow for a more effective running game between the tackles and provide better pass protection. Dallas' O-line on the strong side is a bit better and they have better depth. Red zone scoring chances for Dallas will be run first (to minimize any potential problems) as opposed to GB (and to placate Favre) will be an option first team.
With that, I'd take Dallas RB Barber for these two picks.

keep an eye out for

Robert Meachem WR saints if you're in a Keeper League. He'll be the number 3 by mid season and will be their 2 WR in that Pass Happy offence next year. Both Devery Henderson & Colston have some injuries now so he could pop into the 2 slot if one of them go down.
