The irony is that at the time, the company was undergoing some cost saving measures in order to compete with products brought in from China and other countries. This of course was due to consumer demand for lower prices across the board. I always, at the end of the day, place much of the blame on the 'blissfully ignorant' consumer. It's their $$$ that dictate how companies behave. In the end the consumer gets what they pay for.
Anyway, my opinion is similar to Tungstens. Buy their products and move on.
Do you think I feel sorry? Actually I do because most of the dead aren't the blissfully ignorant I refer to, but seniors at homes where the food was bought for and served to them. The rest I could care less about.big dogie said:Yeah but this company now has 10 -20 'blissfully ignorant' dead customers.
I thought he was with the Thrashers. Me, I'm more impressed with Schenn, Grabovski, and Mitchell.herames said:don't forget schneider is in the mix

Archie got $1B from OTPF to buy MLF. He promptly shut down all the primary pork producing plants and laid off all the unionized workers and recinded the collective bargaining agreement. He immediately opened the plants again and offered everyone their jobs back at 2/3 salary. All this with the full backing of the Ontario Teacher's Union.
