After a long day in T O, and several drinks when I got back in town, I had to make a pit stop at Solids. Got there in time for last call, but didn't see my two fav dancers (Trinity and Romy). Well, I was about to leave, but saw a slender blonde that I decided to try, since there was only time for a few songs.
Her name was Amber, and she tells me her and some friends are down from the Manor, and it's been a shitty night. I shoulda known then to get up, but hey, she's a Manor girl! I was thinking "YEAH!!!"
Na ah! Nothing close to the Manor dances I've experienced. I didn't even ask for extra's, and she tells me "I'm not a whore." I'm thinking "fine, I'm not into full service with strippers anyways".
After 4 songs, the night is done, and I hand her $80. She says "that's 5". I briefly argued, but thought she isn't worth the hassle, and gave her $20 to be rid of her. Thank goodness she won't be returning, cuz she's not Solid's material, let alone Manors'!
As an add on, if you're in Solid's and Amber from California is working, she's a much better choice. But if Amber says "I work at the Manor", get up, hand her $20, and find someone else. A cheap way to find a better dancer.
