A few years ago, I watched a documentary about the problems with memory particularly when it comes to court cases. The human mind can and often does remember faces differently and can be heavily influenced by suggestion. Often by interrogators but also by things like dreams. It was a very interesting documentary. Will try to find it.
The 1980's and 1990's was the heyday of the now-discredited junk science of "lost memory syndrome". The theory was that sexual assault is so traumatic that the brain blocks out the memory, which can be recovered in dreams or by a therapist suggesting to the patient under hypnosis that she was assaulted. It was the basis of many bullshit sexual assault prosecutions in the late 20th Century before being essentially ripped apart by psychologists and totally discredited. Junk science at its absolute worst!
Why are they letting this rapist out.
I am sure it is not the first woman that dreamt he did that.
There will now be at least 30 coming forward that they had the same dream and he should stay in jail.

If a lot of the women that passed by in my life knew what I was dreaming I would be locked up. If dreams were illegal.
However. Never ending supply of stories about mainly black men it seems, end up spending most of their lives in prison for nothing. Prisons are full of them. When finally released they always seem so benign and grateful. I wouldn't be.
