Years ago I dated a girl and we had a stay in date. We went to the store to pick up a bottle of wine. I picked up a $50 bottle of wine, but she said it was too cheap and wanted to pick up a $120 bottle of wine that was fancier.

Immediate red flag lol. I broke up with her the following week lol.

$82,000? , that's all? , loser!
$92,000 actually, plus $2,000 in his business checking, for a total of $94,000.

He has almost 100 times more than me in my checking.

But I have six times more than him in my brokerage account, making me more money. Unless he has a brokerage account with much more (which I doubt, since he would have showed off that instead), his knowledge of finances is weak. $92,000 is losing about 5% each year in inflation, whereas in even a modest investment, it would be making 5% a year, for a difference of 10%.

But then again, I'm 47, and he's probably 20 years younger. Not many people have that much coin saved up at that age.

If he truly earned and saved that money working hard, than that WOULD be impressive, and if he had not bragged about it, than even more so.

A woman that walks around in public with a skirt open on the sides like that is advertising hot puzzy, but serves up cold shoulder.

Enbridge just keeps going up. They said oil was dead, boy were they ever wrong 😘

Great friday today. Now I'm up to $24K

I made about $18K so far over the last 8 months. Most stocks were bought in May of 2020

And yet you can't argue with my success, can you?? I sold a little over half my stocks last week and my first cheque came in the mail today.
I still have $30K left in stocks (mostly oil and energy).

I started with around $50K and I'm now around $80K. All going straight into my TFSA.
Gonna leave the oil stocks till next year and hopefully they'll be up 30% or so

I know a U-man that lives in a carboard box ( gets his wifi from Tim Hortons ). He claimed to be up $18,000 on his stock portfolio but was actually down $18,000. I guess that is why he lives in a carboard box.
