Although not the highest ranking Kung Fu master (he had his own style with a different name), his peers thought he was a great technician.

I don't think there was anybody like Bruce Lee that inspired the interest in martial arts like he did.

To steal a quote about Elvis from John Lennon: Before Bruce Lee, there was nobody (like him in the martial arts).

With the movie, The Green Hornet, coming out, there might be some renewed interest in Bruce Lee who was the original driver on that TV series. I ONLY watched that show when I was a kid because of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee also guest-appeared on other Television Series.

I second that! Bruce Lee was the fucking BOMB. I was too young to see his movies in the theatres but I did get to watch them on TV in the early 80's on Channel 47 Sunday afternoon kung fu marathons. My favorite fight was when he ripped a patch of chest hair out of chuck norris. Classic.

This is so cool.

Let's talk about 'bang' baby!
Yes, very awesome interview!

Bruce and Steve Mcqueen admired each other, Steve wanted to do the physical things that Bruce could do, Bruce at the time wanted to be a box ofiice superstar like Steve was.

@rld: I think you have a pretty good point. Jackie Chan has motherf***ing balls of steel for all that work he has done in movies without a safety net or insurance. Still, Bruce Lee is a classic and I dig those crazy sideburns, he looks like Legolas from LOTR

Bruce Lee in Longstreet - The Way of the Intercepting Fist Some of you guys might remember this show with James Franciscus. This clip doesn't contain the memorable opening fight scene but they still are pretty good.

The Vibrating Palm Punch (supposedly, you get hit in the chest but you get a bruise on your back, lol).

I've already posted my favorite Bruce Lee interview so I don't feel so bad about posting my favorite Jackie Chan fight sequence:
