A survey of both male and female airline passengers has found that most people would prefer a man to fly their plane, with 32 per cent thinking they were more skilled.

Interesting that this sexism still exists. If a female is the pilot, I would assume they are well qualified and skilled with experience. I would have zero doubts or fears if a female voice announced that they were my pilot.

Been there, done that. Females have faced discrimination as pilots since the dawn of aviation. More and more people have the attitude "I want only the very best for myself" and men always got there first when it came to flying, therefore "more experienced" You might learn more about female pilots if you could talk to the survivors of Saddam's air force...
