Great vids. I liked No. 1, it looked cool. I give two thumbs up to the guys flying those planes, it takes a lot of guts to drop them that close to the deck.

yeah No. 1 was freaking awesome.....I'm surprized they can go that fast that low due to the pressure wave in front of them. Mythbusters did a great segment on the effects of breaking the sound barrier at low level.......Great vids. I liked No. 1, it looked cool. I like #2. It just looks freaky for so large a plane to be flying so low. Harder to pull that off than the smaller fighters.
Is it the aardvark that has ground following radar? I recall a video of one following nap of the earth and it was flying down an irrigation ditch.......
I remember a buddy was in charge of a "ride" simulator at the CNE one year. He was harping on it so me and the GF stopped by. It was a video of a T-38 (I think) chase and you strapped in. It was like the scene from Independance Day when the fighter was chasing one of the alien ships through a canyon. I told my gf to hang on but she didn't take me seriously, her legs, boobs, arms were all over the place lol.
It was funny! She got out and had to find the nearest washroom cuz her boobs had slipped up out of her bra......

But I seriously loved 31 in the OP's original video...
I remember watching Clint Eastwood's "Firefox" and there was a scene just after he stole the MiG 31 and he's flying low over the ocean to avoid radar or something and you see that "pressure wave", and I thought, wow- is that ever cool! I realize it was just a cool special effect in THAT case, but now that I see it for real... VERY COOL!
