It's only in that episode that The Skipper and The Professor are given names, Jonas Grumby for the skipper, and Roy Hinkley for The Professor. I didn't watch the youtube video, so I don't know if that's included, but it's mentioned when they're listening to a radio report about them being lost at sea. They had a working, battery operated radio then. It was only in later episodes when The Professor made one out of a coconut.

1,000 posts for me.

What do you think of the different Ginger, Maryanne and Proffessor? Plus the different beginning song.
Thank you for the links.

I have seen that one on the T.V. at some point (not the original airing).

I think they made the right choices with the cast and the song...

Cool. But that theme song sucked big time.

Anyone know where to find the pilot to Leave it to Beaver now?
I belive it had some different actors too.

Who knew that Richie had a brother named Chuck on Happy Days?
The first Happy Days was actually half of an hour long episode of the show Love, American Style, called Love and the Happy Days. Ron Howard, Anson Williams, (Potsie), and Marion Ross were in it. There were also Chuck and Joanie characters, with different actors. See the bottom of the page on this link for more information:

This Love, American Style episode from 1972 came out before American Graffiti, (1973), which came out before Happy Days, (1974), but Ron Howard plays pretty much the same character in all of them
