I want to go to a bar or club where the women will hit on me tonight. I am tired of being the initiator and that includes paying. I literally want to get picked up. I am in my late 40s and I have an athletic body. Where will there be desperate women who might be interested? Also what clothes work best? should I suit up? I am willing to significantly drop my standards.

Easiest way to get a civilian lay is at a hotel bar. They're either single or taken, but since they're on vacation, it doesn't count as cheating. LOL. Traveling women even have an available "incall" if you will. But you will have to hit on them. They're not going to hit on you.

There's more than one way to skin a cat. Hotel bar is one option. There are others but you will have to do the approaching.

What about singles bars? Not that I no of any myself... But I think the hitting on and availability is already implied by just being there.
