Looking to buy a Treadmill for home use

I am not a runner or close to being fit. I am looking for a Treadmill for basic home use. So many out there, I am lost at to which one to buy. My budget is around $2,000. Any advice as to which one to buy and where. Thanks

Sears used to be good for treadmills, I got a gym quality one at one of the warehouses for like $700. I was shopping around at the time, Canadian Tire had some home use ones that were decent. You could probably go way under budget, depending on your needs.

Buy a SOLE treadmill. Good quality and reviews. You can buy direct from the distributor in Ontario and save the store mark-ups. I bought the F85 on Boxing Day years ago.

I bought a Nordic Trac at Sears and it was outstanding...I'm a big guy so I was pounding on it pretty good and never had any maintenance issues...Not Sears anymore but I certainly recommend Nordic Trac and at $2000 you have a healthy budget.

search kijiji as people buy new and sell them within 1-2 years as they become a clothes line in the basement. I bought a used Good Life elliptical online for $200.00 and it was only 2 years old, saved myself a lot of money as they are not cheap.

I’m not a light person. Seems good to me. No real maintenance... still haven’t even had to lubricate the belt.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have narrowed down my options to one of the following:

All are a little above my $2K budget. But I want something that is well made, good warranty and reasonable after sales service.

I will probably wait to see which one of these goes on sale for Black Friday before I make the plunge.
