Looking for Terb Opinions

Hi Guys and Gals,

Sande from Body and Soul. I'm seeking your invaluable opinions. Pretend your computer was unavailable to you. (I know this is a strech but hang with me here!) The question on hand is this: What magazine, paper, newsprint etc.. do you guys rely on, or prefer to read in order to get the information you require to make a decision on where to get a massage.(My question mark button does not work)I.E Adult Entertainer, Eye Magazine, Now Magazine, Toronto Sun etc..

I personally use the Toronto sun to find Websites of MP's. I believe this is the best way to get major exposure.

In addition to Now and EYE, the Toronto Star Classifieds (#657 Health and Well Being - Body Care ) usually has a good selection of massage ads.

I've always checked out NOW or Eye, their free and for me easy to get a hold of.

If the person does not have a computer available yet. Do you think that they will have xtra cash to spend?

I have firends that don't use computers that still visit strip clubs and massage parlours. They have loads of cash to spend, just not interested in the internet. So the answer is yes.

In the past I always checked the ads in the sun, now and eye as a source.

I travel around in my car all day and am more comfortable with Eye/Now/Sun/Star on the front seat

while AE has more pics and articles it is less discreet

Sande if I may... a suggestion: Call up some of the advertisers in the publications you and others have mentioned here. Ask them how much response they get. Maybe more important though... what KIND of response do they get. (prank calls vs appointments)

I prefer using the Toronto Sun.

It is more discreet.... Alot of people assume if you are looking thru EYE or NOW, you are looking for something perverted.

The Sun, you could be looking at almost anything.........like the Sunshine girl of course.


P.s. Sande.... What about an online Schedule or larger, Fluffier Towels......

I was there recently (reviewed Chanel) and they did at least have new flexible shower heads (actually with the hand held showerhead that clips in place to become stationary). No schedule or Large Fluffy towels yet but 1 out of 3 after all the nudging we've been doing isn't bad for starters.

Sande: Eye/Now/Sun are pretty good. A little of topic, but I like the little glossy cards/flyers that get stuck on your window when you're at a strip club. They can be annoying but if they reference a website and have a map on them they can easily fit into your pocket or wallet for reference. Most people have access to a computer somewhere to surf so its a good marketing tool for the website. Also, they keep longer then cutting out an ad in the paper and sticking it in your wallet.

The short of it is the website is the best marketing tool you've got and you've got to find a way to get people to hit your site. The locals may go for a walk-in but you've got to give the people further away a reason to travel to your spa. That being said, a link on your website to TERB and MBB as well as other resources on the web is a good way to provide 3rd party unbiased reviews of your site. You have favourable reviews overall so it won't hurt you.

Oh yeh, a schedule would be nice as well.
