Looking for a true story

I'm looking for a true story where a murdered victim uttered the name of the killer during his/her last dying breath, and then that person was convicted and found guilty as a result. Google has not helped much here. Anyone know of any such true story?

There was a story recently about a canary that supposedly did something like that, the bird said something that might identify the perp. That's all I got.

it's an exception to the hearsay rule in evidence law. there are major cases based on debates over whether these statements should be admissible at trial. i'll look thru my evidence notes later to find you more specific cases.
