I have a P4 card and I want my direct TV back. Once the HU cards went down I have been missing all the shows and channels. Whats the best price I should expect to get for a subed card a month? I got a quote of $50 a month! I wouldn't mind paying that but that doesn't included unlimited PPV. They say there is no way to clear the PPV's from the P4 card so once you reach the limit then no more PPV's!

If you have the older receiver the response (acquiring signal etc.) will be extremely slow as the yellow card has a very large memory. Better to get a new receiver. I was quoted a price of $250 for the yellow card and a new receiver.the rusty tromb said:

Yeah, every 10-15 mins a box pops up that says "attention : your smart card does not haves permission to view this channel" it comes back in like 10 seconds, but as you can imagine it's quite annoying.Preferred said:

The way it will work is that you will be 'subscribing' to a "membership" the price will vary from 40 to 50 bucks per month. The only other thing that will be required is, that you will need either DSL or Cable internet.
