Yep, 100% a blackmail scam. Was texting with them as I was 90% sure it was a scam but found it kind of amusing. As we texted more and more, as well as the nature of what they were asking. E.g. copies of I.D. etc it became very obvious. Funny thing is that they are even shit at scamming. Very rude and poor communication skills rather than trying to charm the 'mark'.
