Wondering if when downtown the location of the incall matters to you, or is "Downtown" all equal.

The first choice should read "doesn't" but I can't edit now, hopefully you will know what I mean.

I am from out of town and come to Toronto on the GO train. So for me it would be a short walk from Union.

T.O.
There are so many options within the 'downtown' core, it's hard to complain.

The closer to a subway the better; either a hotel or condo building are satisfactory.

It does matter, Union Station area and Financial District are most convenient. King west is too far away. This of course is if you are trying to attract daytime clients in the Financial District. The others are not as charming as us.

Main thing for me is TTC access since I don’t drive. I don’t want to have to take the subway, transfer, take a bus/streetcar, then another bus/streetcar to get to you. Especially if I’ve got a huge wad of cash on me for the donation. Would rather spend as little time as possible in transit. Generally prefer if I don’t have to deal with security guards or whatever at the building, too.

For Toronto, you should look for:
walking distance to a subway station
access to street parking
no concierge (if apartment)
no card key elevators (if hotel)

Concierge depends to me. In my building, you can just directly buzz the person and they can let you in. Don’t have to deal with the concierge at all. Some buildings, though, you have to get the concierge to buzz them, I’d prefer not to deal with that.

I don't like downtown incalls and have stopped booking them especially in the winter.

1. Parking is a hassle and adds $20 to $30 to the session cost.

2. Usually a cold and windy walk to the incall location, and if it's a condo you have to wait outside until you get the entry info, unless there's a Timmies or Starbucks nearby. If the sp is a bit late or backed up on her schedule you get to wait outside the condo that much longer

4. The concierge issue in condos. Rare, but sometimes a problem.

5. Then another cold and windy walk back to your car after the session.

I much prefer airport, Markham, or even Mississauga locations. I'd rather drive an extra half hour to a location with free or inexpensive and convenient parking, than search for an unfamiliar and expensive parking lot downtown, and then later try to remember where in the complicated structure I parked my car.

I do find daytime clients downtown to be very charming indeed!

Hmmm you do raise some valid points! The major issue with downtown is parking. It’s rarely ever free unless it’s one of those 1 hour street parking spots. Some of my clients will only take Uber downtown as they refuse to drive. Others don’t seem to mind paying for parking. Then there are those who are not willing to drive more than 15 minutes away and will pass entirely.

I miss the days when some of the agencies used to use 1King West Hotel; I was able to walk through the PATH to hobby. It was awesome particularly in the winter, you didn’t need to your coat. Not used by anyone anymore...

agreed. 1 king west is the best location for reasons you mentioned. Sheraton Center hotel is also connected to the path. Basically any hotel condo that's a quick walk from the path is best for me.You can hang out underground if you are early and no one is the wiser.

These are great tips, thank you! As it turns out I am looking at two places connected to the path this week!

Yes the Sheraton is also a good choice. The other option is the Fairmont Royal York.

Plus ya got key card issues...
My main work location when in the gta was conveniently a few blocks from the now defunct naughty nuru agency condo. Made it super easy to walk to/from yonge/wellsley...however, at times I've tried to put the "lay" in "layover" when transiting through pearson ...then I'll usually take up express train to union station and thus a walk from their appreciated greatly. This limits often who I can visit though. Or if close enough hit a hotel near Pearson if a desired lady working near there. Did twice take hotel shuttle to hotel...then shuttle back to hotel. Gotta go through security twice but all this flying business gets me in the shorter queues.
