So I had a bout of Covid, the flu it most definitely is not.

I told my doctor that I was not taking any more booster shots, the vaccine inhibits my ability to absorb insulin. There's nothing worse than your blood sugar spiking to double digits and staying there for over a week, you can tough out covid, diabetes is the silent assassin. It nearly laid me the fuck out in March 2021, I'm not looking for an encore.

Sorry Moderna, you'll not getting into my blood.

To put it into perspective, the flu is Randy Savage, Covid is King Kong Bundy and Diabetes is Andre the Giant.

I won't tempt fate by taking another booster shot. The sad part I conquered the long hill on the McMichael Trail when it hit. I thought I was too old to do it without getting winded. I thought Walter White would be proud of me...then I got sick.
