While speaking with a straight, recently divorced male neighbour this afternoon, I've come to see not all men enjoy lovely under things.

He expressed to me that his now ex-wife use to obsess over matching undies and bras, babydolls, and the like and he honestly didn't see the need. I know I'm quite the lingerie addict, I like nice things on my skin. Guilty of occasionally purchasing too much on a whim.

But I always thought a man I'd be sleeping with would be the last to complain?

So ladies and gentlemen, what are your thoughts on lingerie? I'm not referring to over the top, hard to get off corseted pieces (but hey, if that's your thing - go to town!), just your standard cute little sets and hosiery.

All for it? Or not so much? Would a mismatched cotton set showing some wear still do the trick? Or is what's underneath it all that matters?

Ladies, do you enjoy shopping for new fancy underthings? Finding new sets to wear for those you see in intimates settings?

Women dress for themselves or other women.

Personally, Lingerie is all well and good, but I don't go ape shit for it. When it comes to sleeping (as in sleeping) with a woman, the only thing I INSIST on is that she sleeps nude 100% of the time. I despise (really despise) wearing clothes to bed. Complete turn off and insulting at some level.

I would agree that all of my panties match my bras. It makes me feel sexy and attractive regardless of who gets to see them. I also like to know that i am prepared for every situation :)

Lingerie can hurt you ( granny panties etc) but very rarely help you as far as most men are concerned.

Got to have it! Having an older French girl friend when I was 18, that introduced me to the art of dressing from under to top, it is a deal breaker for me if my SO does not have nice Lingerie. I think it gives the ladies a sense of self esteem, and that enhances their beautiful shape. I love the way they look in it. The more the better.

I really, really hate it. Even lines that show through clothing I hate. The girl for me wears no lingerie or underwear at any time.

I am a fan of lingerie. But I don't get all hot and bothered about it matching. Really, if the pieces by themselves work, then they usually work together. Matching, while nice, isn't really that important to me.

Frankly, I see lingerie as yet another layer the girl wears to tease and arouse me. I have seen enough naked girls to know what is underneath, but there is always something to be said for leaving things to the imagination.

Plus, it's all coming off anyway.

complete waste of time, I cant wait to get it off when I am with a gal especially one whose time I am paying for, and especially hate it when a woman is wearing it in porn. I want to see the entire body uncovered.
