I see from the city's ad in this morning's Citizen (pg A5) that one of the agenda items for the License Committee on Monday (9:30 Champlain Room) is "Appeal the Refusal of a Body Rub Parlor License". I'm sure that this is Jasmin's appeal for her Merivale location.

I'm glad to see that she will finally see resolution of this and I wish her all the best. Hopefully the city will be satisfied that they have made their point and everything can return to how it should be with Jasmin running a classy, clean, secure and (especially) discreet studio. And if city continues to be &^$*@s then she can move on and turn her energies into transforming the site she is operating out of now.

Good Luck Monday Jasmin, we're pulling for you ;) !

It is interesting that they did not move the meeting to one of the offices in Nepean, Gloucester, or Cumberland. I guess license appeals are not a high priority.

Thanks for the support... sadly, the appeal on Monday has been cancelled due to the protests planned surrounding George Bush and gangs meetings. Unless an emergency meeting is called, we will have to wait until September 17th.
Sorry to hear that you have to put up with another month of uncertainty. Doesn't seem fair.

I recognize all of the addresses except 380 Terminal Ave. and 2525 Carling Avenue and I was surprised to see 96 George St.

Are we missing out on something?
