Yeah, all those liberal loons with their school prayer demands and their sex abstinence courses. They ought just stop that nonsense.

Clearly you've not spent much time in the public school system - Pekkkr used to be a teach, if that doesn't fit the liberal loons qualification I don't know what would.

....and private schools are overstocked with conservative con-artists, probably because they couldn't pass the public school standards and competency tests!

My observation of both types of schools, is that teachers at elite private (for pay) schools and most mainstream Church run schools e.g. Upper Canada College, Episcopal High School, Friends Select School or Boston College High School could most definitely pass the "Teacher Proficiency Test" for every jurisdiction in North America. Many teachers in good suburban or rural districts could teach in private or church run schools, however, a fair number of teachers in mediocre public or “Christian Schools” could not.
