I would like to share an experience that I am sure has happened to all of us at some time. Yesterday morning I sent alanssecret a pm asking her if she had an opening for anytime between 12 and 3 pm. She replied that she could see me at 3 but to give her a call. I called her and we set an appointment for 3 pm. Just before driving out from Pickering I called her again to let her know I was about to leave and I would be there in ½ an hour.
Traffic was light and I arrived 10 minutes early. In case this may have messed her up, I actually sat in the car for 10 minutes so I would not arrive too early. A few minutes before 3 pm I buzzed her apartment, a few seconds passed, and she answered by asking who’s this, I said my name, then after another few seconds, she asked who again, so I said my treb handle name this time, once again another few seconds passed, and then for a 3rd time she asked who again, I thought possibly I was buzzing the wrong apartment, but this time I said “I’m your 3 o’clock appointment”. This time she then let me in.
When I got to her apartment, I could see what the confusion was all about, another person had arrived just before me and was still standing in the hallway, and to my amazement she took this guy who did not make an appointment before me.
All she said to me was, “I’m going to have to stop drinking so much”, and asked me to sit a wait. I know Alana is a nice person and means well, and this was probably her way of saying “I’m very sorry for putting you out please accept my apologies”, but at the time it did not come across that way. Anyways after a few minutes, I left as I was pushing my time limit for the day, and thought if the session starts off this way it will not be that enjoyable. So in the end I wasted an hour of my time.
I found out about Alana through good reviews here, and thought I owed it to everyone to post the other side. I think she is getting too popular and thus a good experience is now a hit or miss.
