Serious answer -- if you put the time and effort into getting it going, you could start an online store, or an eBay store. You would have to do all the ordinary hard work of setting up a small business, finding suppliers, working on developing a brand, finding a market niche that isn't well served. You would be able to run a business like that out of your home, mailing out packages to customers and such.
It wouldn't be ENTIRELY work from home. You would have to go out to meet suppliers and purchase the goods for your store and obviously you'd need to drop off packages at the fedex dealer. Might involve making some contacts in China and other places, to develop a supply chain. But it could be done, and you would mostly be working out of your home.
Of course it isn't risk free, takes a lot of hard work and effort, like any other business.
If you are looking for a "free lunch" there is no such thing. If you are looking for a legitimate way to run a business from your home -- sure it's possible.
