Is it legal for a client (buyer) to ask for companionship of the ladies through their leolist advertisement/ twitter account (Please don’t refer to C36, as it’s way confusing for sellers and buyers both).

I suppose it depends on what you mean by companionship. All I know is that various police services do charge people with solicitation. Charges and stings do not seem to be as common in Ontario as other provinces though. Sticking to the established agencies is a pretty good way to minimize being caught up in a sting, especially if monetary consideration is never mentioned. This is why many agencies simply ask you to place a donation or envelope on the table without saying anything. That way if the police are secretly recording in a room, they won't have an audio recording or incriminating audio evidence.

But that said, I am not a criminal lawyer. Obviously solicitation is an offence. If the police think they can prove the offence, they will attempt to lay charges. A burner phone is therefore probably a good idea generally.

If companionship means a date to a ballgame or something then no fear of law
If you mean come over to my hotel "to talk" then yes you would be in trouble regardless of what your excuse was
