LED HDD Connectors?

Are these necessary? I have a SATA drive and the instructions mention connecting the LED HDD connector, but I don't seem to have any free slots on my motherboard, on the SATA adaptor card, or on the SATA drive itself.

Is this a problem?

I can't imagine why it would be a problem, unless you need to see (visually) when there's activity on your drive.
