In What known as Parris III conference of doners to revive lebanon's economy after last summer war. The confering members mainly the USA and its europeans friends and asian cronies and arab rich countries agreed to give lebanon's government almost 7.6 billion in cash, debt forgivness, weapons among other things.

Its amazing that such huge amount given to lebanon at this time of its history given the fact only 3 million lebanese live in lebanon and they don't need that much cash to live on. Such huge amount given to a small country such as lebanon who is full of corrupted politicians is not given for nothing compared to more needed help in other parts of the world where people are dying of hunger and diseases and they need much less money to survive if life were ment to be saved from such donation.

This huge gift is the price the west and usa paying to get rid of hezbulla using any means thats available including military force or even worse, new civil war lebanese government have to orchestrate and do its atmost to disarm hezbulla and change the regime in syria and removing iran's influence in what is know great syria's region.

Given the cost israel and USA paid last summer trying to tackle hezbulla that reached in total to about $ 4 billion in 33 days this type of donation of 7.60 billion sound like a drop in a pocket of how much it may cost if USA or israel try to disarm hezbulla again using its soldiers and armies with no guarantee of success.

But subcontracting the job to lebanese government and its local allies and the support of saudi arabia, egypt, jordan sounds like a great deal for usa, france and israel as long as non of their citizines or army will participate in the upcoming war against hezbullawill which they hope they will finally succeed in lebanon after 60 years of conflict. (but they will never, never succeed no matter how much billions they cough out).

Os, you need to brush up un the politics of Lebanon. Maybe scouser will fill you in.

Just as a preview, if the majority were pro-Hezbollah, would the government still be standing?
