Just returned home from Toronto. I went to see the Wings Leafs game, What an awsome time I had. What class the fans showed this wings fan. The friendly bantering back and forth was great. I even got mooned 3 times from a girl 3 seats from me. The acc is awsome. I really enjoyed the way the fans booed the starting line up for the wings except when they said Steve Yzerman and he got a nice hand from leafs fans. Only a jack ass would have these 2 teams play once a year. And thank you Robin Summers I had a great time with you. See ya in January for the pistons raptors.

I love my Wings and live in the TO region, and fans here are great. Die-hards and true blue, but no true venom for fans of the visitors. And always appreciative of talent, no matter the jersey.
On the other hand, my dad was a dyed-in-the-wool Montreal fan living in Windsor back in the 1950's. And he loved nothing more than driving out to Olympia Stadium and cheering for his Habs against their hated rivals, the Detroit Red Wings.
Which makes me think that a) it's amazing I was ever born, and b) he no doubt wishes I wasn't, and is spinning in his grave, me being a Wings fan and all....

As a life long Wings fan,(which is surprising when you consider that ive lived in Toronto all my life) it is a disgrace that theres only one game between the Leafs and Wings, they all should be in the same division along with the Hawks, the Canadiens,the Rangers and the Bruins!!
