I'm thinking of buying a new TV and/or P.C. monitor. Is there a noticeable difference between LCD and LED?

Also, do you use your TV also as your P.C. monitor?

LED is considered best of the best now and prices are dropping. Best Buy has a 23" Dell LED monitor for $179.99 this week down here in the States.

I have used my 32" CRT TV at times to watch movies on Hulu and blacked out Bills games after plugging my laptop into it. It worked fine, imagine an LED TV would look even better.

LED is solidstate backlight, I think old LCD monitors actually use funky flourescent bulb stuff for backlight, and use more power & more likely to burn out.

also check how much wattage each model TV draws...specs will usually show how much power the screen uses, and power for the speakers...you might prefer a TV that only uses 65watts insteada 100 or whatever, I have not checked so I have no idea what they average.
