I believe it's hangry-hate motivated. The guy was native or Asian and the woman he killed appears to be Somali.

Homeless and hangry act super crazy. If you've been without food before in your life, you know what I'm talking about.

They don't mind going to jail for life. At least they'll get free food for life 3 times a day.

GoFundMe was by sis with a Somali name. They said possible hate crime (anti Somali?). Kipling station is where Somalis get off to take bus north to Rexdale which is a Somali area. I know because I grew up in Rexdale (I'm not Somali) and always used Kipling station after returning home from U of T. So that's my guess. She was a student and probably going home and got killed randomly by a crazy hungry guy.

It sounds like a hate motivated crime either against another Asian of a different ethnic origin OR incel attack.

There was another attack at that station today. 60 year old lady randomly punched in the head. Knocked her out cold.

Took my bike on the TTC this past weekend.
1) Thank goodness, no negative human interactions.
2) The elevators at 2 of the 3 stations were not functioning.
3) I had to manually carry my bike down the stairs when a nice gentleman helped by lifting the rear of the bike.

Aluminum frame, lighter than steel but heavier than titanium.

"New" Union Station is a maze. Another time I asked a young lady to hold the door for me which she happily obliged. After I entered, there was a short flight of stairs. The same young lady offered to help with the bike. (I actually didn't need her help but I learned a long time ago to never decline a young lady's offer of anything.)

Mental illness or not, if you take someone's life you should be incarcerated for 25 years minimum. You've lost your right to function in a civilized society.
