There is a rumour out there that the Buds may trade Nik Antropov and Tie Domi to Pittsburgh for Ryan Malone (tough defensman and Pitt native) and Dick Tarnstrom (Swedish defensmen) and this trade makes sense!

Getting rid of stiff like Domi is worth about a half a bucket of pucks and a few water bottles!

Do it! :)

Domi is getting on, but he's one of the better enforcers in the league that can actually play half decently. Face it, would you rather have Domi playing regularly as the enforcer or Belak. I can see the point of this trade though, this would give Sid the Kid some protection.

Would let Pohl come up... we don't need Domi anymore and when he plays his hands are like two rocks.. he can't put the bisquit in the basket.

none of these make sense.

don't make any moves, yet... i say go with what you got... 2 months ago the team was right around .500 hockey... they have improved, slightly, but that is a move in the right direction. as it stands the leafs are only 10 points behind the top of the NHL... that isn't so bad.

Though ... u'd figure that there'd be a better deal out there for potential like Malone.

actually in college he played defence and forward

I am a friend of his, and after reading here i called him and just got an email back form him and the word is no go, granted he said players are always the last to know but he said no way.

Buddy what planet are you on. Stop watching ESPN Classic Canada. Domi id done and over the hill. Domi doesn't want to fight anymore and avoids them at all costs. I don't blame him, he has had three fights this year and got seriously pounded in all three of them. Domi will fit in good in Pittsburgh , just another one of Lemieux's friends, to go with the collection of current friends on Pittsburghs roster. I would feel sorry for Michel Therrien if he didn't have a 3 year contract. He will be gone by the end of the year and Lemieux will be coaching next year. The only thing the Penguins are missing is Mike Milbury, I wonder if they can get him away from the Islanders.......LOL

ahhh, what difference does it make if the leafs make a trade or not??? Toronto fans have to be some of the dumbest fans around!! If the leafs ice a great team or a crappy team, they will always sell out the ACC!! So they always put together a group of guys that are mediocre and the teachers pension fund just keeps growing!!! I used to play on the same hockey team with Harold Ballards grandson, while over at this kids house (his mom was Ballards daughter) I overheard Ballard say, "as long as I beat one top notch team once, im sold out for the rest of the season". So it doesnt make sense to waste money on a high payroll if your gonna sell out every game anyways!!

I used to play with Ballards nephew's, daughters, boyfriends third cousin and he said he overheard his uncle say that he heard a friend say the same thing....:D

This is the team (different management im sure) that traded Markus Naslund to Vancovuer for big duffus Alex Stojanov. Anything is possible and they are hurting this year after trying to pretend to be able to play the F.A. game.

The Leafs should have traded Sundin in the preseason...He sucks now...I'd highly anticipate a trade in the off season...

I believe he is in the last year of his contract...
They would have to sign him before trading him, if they are not high on him they will loose him.

Nope he has a couple more years left i think. Not exactly sure how many but this isnt his last im pretty sure The Leafs are only on the hook for like 4 or 5 guys after this year. Im thinking next year will look alot different
