I'm not so sure.

He's lost to horn 3x, Filho and Maia all guys that are sub masters. And A.Silva is no slouch off his back either.

What Sonnen is however is to aggressive when in his opponents guard.

If he played it safe when he is ahead he would be a world champion by now.

Whether you like him or not you have to admit that his fights are exciting to watch and that for me is the determining factor on him as a fighter.
