Well it’s America it’s their culture to sue everyone when something happens. Next thing we will see is that they will try to sue the people who saw the event happen for nothing trying to stop it.

By the way when is Kyles trial? I am interested in seeing how that will turn out.

Guess the fact that he was running away from their son and fell. Then their son tried to cave his head in with his skateboard has nothing to do with this......
But Kyle was a criminal with a gun in the streets. He broke several laws carrying a gun across state lines. Not even you can dispute that fact.

He's probably got self-defence on the skateboard kid. And the cops will say it happened too fast and they'd made a tactical decision not to leave their perimeter. The lawsuit goes nowhere.

There could be an interesting case put forward that the guy with the skateboard was using self defense after militia boy killed the first guy.

I have no idea about the merits of this lawsuit under state law but the way police behaved towards the armed mob/vigilantes could be used to claim the police gave him permission to be acting in the role of police.

Skateboard Guy was chasing KR. So self-defence isn't possible for him. Shot in Arm Guy stated that he was just trying to talk KR down and KR was so freaked out that he shot SiAG for no reason. Hence KR isn't self-defending and over reacted, so all sorts of potential grief for KR onSiAG.

The only in for Skateboard Guy is that he may have been trying to citizens' arrest KR and used reasonable force to effect the arrest by wacking KR with the skateboard. Interested to see if that angle is played by the DA at trial.

Police didn't give KR "permission" to act in role of police. WI is an open carry state - apparently. So KR could wander around with a loaded AR-15 getting in trouble. Cops could arrest KR for a short period of time and simply move him forcibly away to prevent a "breach of the peace" - which more than certainly tf happened a few minutes later. But the cops were not around for any of the 3 shootings.

You have to be convicted of a crime to be a criminal last I checked..........

Now both of the fine upstanding citizens that he suppressed had lengthy criminal records but Kyle did not.

Facts Ma'am just the facts........

No... it's in fact that act of committing a crime that makes one a criminal. Conviction simply gives you title. Convicted criminal.

Oh I see.........And you determine whether or not a crime is being committed right?

Because where I sit that's up to the courts.

Hmmm... just so I am clear... if a guy rapes an 8 year old girl...but, there is not enough evidence to convict him.... then it was not a rape. Is that what you are selling? Because I would say, the fucking pedo got away with a crime.

And what about those wrongly convicted of crimes they did not commit... are they still criminals?

You understand what due process is right? Kyle will get his and we'll see how things turn out.

That's the line I was thinking. Forgive my non-Illinois lawyerness.

When there was a curfew in place, police interacted with the vigilantes, and instead of telling them to leave thanked them for their work, it sure can be argued.

And then there will be a whole bunch of people claiming the kid was convicted solely because of leftist political pressure.
