Lucky enough to be going to the show on October 2nd at the ACC and also picked up tickets for the Oshawa show. Got ticket 3rd row from the stage and that is where my 15 year old daughter is sitting. I am really pumped. Any one else going?

That is one band that I have never seen, but always wanted to.....supposed to be one of the best shows on the planet.......

They are fun to watch live, but overall their music is crap.

They are a band that just markets anything it can. They even have their own toilet paper and coffins for their "Kiss Army" fans.

If they make money for hard work and products people choose to buy, more power to 'em.

I'm not the biggest KISS fan, but their shows are quite the Spectacle. Their Ottawa show this summer had people packed in tight to get a closer view.

Opinions . . . What is that old saying about opinions? I forget how it goes . . .
You don't agree that Unmasked, Music From the Elder, Lick it Up, Animalize, Asylum, Crazy Nights and Hot in the Shade were horrible albums? They were horrible in the 80's with the exception of Creatures of the Night which was probably their best album. But after the disco-oriented Dynasty, the pop-oriented Unmasked and the weird Music from the Elder albums, they lost a lot of their fans and Creatures of the Night took forever to achieve Gold status because of that.

I don't mind a lot of their songs from the 70's, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were great songs. Their Revenge album and Psycho Circus were alright as well. They were mainly a marketing band, and not really a music band.

What some don't realize is that KISS' massive appeal as a touring band also translated to album sales, as the band ranks third behind the Rolling Stones and the Beatles for consecutive gold records, with twenty-three (which ties them with Rush)
