Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well and that you’re all staying safe.

I booked an appointment with Claudia last Sunday, and since there weren’t many reviews besides Lefty’s, I went in with an open mind.

Right away, she presents herself well — she’s attractive and carries herself confidently. Unfortunately, that’s the highlight of my 40-minute session with her.

During the appointment, I noticed she can be a bit backhanded with her compliments and occasionally came across as passive-aggressive. The massage started off strong, but the quality gradually dropped. While lying face down, she did give a good back massage at first, but the same technique was repeated over and over for the rest of the session, with no variation. What began as relaxing eventually felt repetitive and unengaging.

In terms of connection and atmosphere, I didn’t feel much effort from her. Compared to others at Kingsway — even the quieter or more reserved ones — Claudia didn’t seem very conversational. I tried starting conversations a few times, but her responses were short, sometimes just one or two words, which led to long, awkward silences.

Overall, I really wish I had a better experience, but it just didn’t click for me.

Would I repeat? Honestly, no.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this. But she’s new, room to grow and improve. I’m sure she’ll get better as time goes along.

Good thorough and thoughtful review. Bummer that it had to be for a negative experience. Lefty's right, she's new. Hopefully she picks up feedback and makes something of it

Absolutely agreed! It is to be noted though that she does have a strong background in the industry itself. She’s worked for 3-4 several massage spas that are also highly reviewed and well known in Toronto. If it isn’t the experience, it most certainly can be the environment. Getting used to new clientele, co-workers, and also a new management. She also had mentioned that her and Jamie (the owner of Kingsway Spa) are very close, and if it wasn’t for Jamie she wouldn’t even have known about the spa and employment opportunities itself.

Hopefully Jamie can help her get more comfortable and coach her through the dos and don’ts more to make for a better future visit.

She's no longer at Kingsway so it doesn't matter different vibes sometimes with the Toronto vets. It happens. Unfortunately we're used to world class personalities at Kingsway so it would definitely be to their benefit to adapt, I hate to say.

Agreed! The two names I do recall her mentioning vividly were Hands At Heaven Spa, and also Allure Spa which I believe is in Mississauga. Never have I been to either one, I’ve only been to Pickering Angels. Had a horrible experience there, and never went back. Luckily for me, Kingsway Spa exists. Too good of a spot to give any other place a try. Only person I miss from Pickering Angels is Dayna. I used to be her regular, she’s super kind, very good looking, can keep a great conversation and her massage is excellent too. Her finishes and teasing is also very sensual. It’s unfortunate she doesn’t seem appear on PA’s schedule as often as she used to. Would definitely love to go back to see her, been a long while for sure. IMO she’d make a great fit for Kingsway spa as well, her and Jordan actually used to be very good friends.

Aside my regular visits for Dayna, the one experience I had completely ruined it for me at PA, even their desk person is insanely rude. DK how they’re still in business
