OK, this is not a TERB issue, but I'm finding it a pain in the ass problem. I haven't checked other Backpage cities, but lately there has been an epidemic of 'way out of town' postings in the Kingston listings. As in: Windsor, Toronto, London, Newmarket etc. Not SP's visiting Kingston; they're advertising services offered in those cities.
Not sure if this is a Backpage generated happening, or just the SP's from those towns deciding to go broadband? If I wanted to find out what London had to offer I'd go check the London Backpage listings. In the meantime the number of Kingston Backpage listings per day has doubled or tripled, and for me it's visual overload. Getting too old to play the game I guess.
My understanding is that the SP's pay Backpage to do these listings? In which case they can push the ads out wherever they want. But it doesn't seem fair to those in the immediate geographical area to have what would otherwise be a manageable number of listings they pay for, get carpet bombed with all this other stuff. Or am I way off base.
