Be interesting to see what kind of reply you get to this. Locanto has never struck me as the place where a lot of legit posting goes on - just a lot of wasted time. But when you're panning for gold, there's always nuggets somewhere out there.

Not to generalize too much, but the locanto ads always strike me as pretty sketchy. Car calls, no pics, and if pics are there, they are blurry or intentionally obscure appearance of body. The ones that are more clear, don’t look that great. And while we all like a bargain, bottom barrel prices often indicate questionable service, or questionable situations. Buyer beware

I agree with you, and I didn’t mean any disrepect to the advertisers there, they can advertise where and charge what they want, and earn a living how they choose. From a client point of view, those things I stated in my initial post make me avoid utilizing their services. In general the classified ads are hit and miss, and it seems that many of the Locanto ones send red flags for me as a client. My experiences with sex workers (as a client) and my time on here have taught me the types of situations I’d prefer to avoid.

A lot of us longtimers here have met and had great client/provider relationships in the recent past with SWers who have been on the lower end of the pricing structure here in Ottawa but again it all depends on what situations youre interested in being involved in. The old adage, always trust your gut is the truest saying of all.
