A man is killed (R.I.P.) by a falling tree branch in Trinity Bellwood Park.

I went there late yesterday afternoon to pay my respects to the victim and see the tree for myself.
1) The area around the tree was not roped off.
2) There was no warning sign.
3) A group of young people were sitting no more than 10 feet away from the tree.
4) The tree was not cut down.

Question: What is the SOP when a tree kills or injures someone?

Talk about bad timing. What are the chances?

There is a big law suit going on here over a power main snapping from a pole and coiled around a woman, literally frying her to death. Son had to watch. Again really bad timing. That line could have snapped anytime but just happened to occur when she was in close proximity.
