Most episodes they'll tell you what bar they're at. Some, for example, are at Mink.
Is it easy enough for a clean-cut, decent-looking guy in the right age group to get a girl's phone number? Sure. But that's still a long way from getting a first date.
At the same time, there are a lot of guys who aren't as clean-cut as they think, and who stammer and stare when meeting women, or make crude comments. They won't get her phone number nearly as easily.
