I just saw that too ray and the Dragons seemed (for the first time Ive ever seen) to be pissed that they didnt get the deal done. They were too greedy and cocky and kudos to the guys to stand firm. That was a great episode. The Dragons were all worried that they would see this product all over the place in the near future and not have been part of it. I agree. If i had 300 grand and only 25% of the biz id have gone for it. I think in hindsight the Dragons now would have too

I wonder if the resorts will let you take it up the chair lifts?

It would be a bummer to have to ride UP the hill....
Of course they would if it made them money...

well yeah..I get that...I'm not a skier, but aren't some of those chair lifts pretty high off the ground?

How heavy is it? What if you dropped it?

I could see using it on a t-bar type lift.

Watched that episode as well...
Cool? Yes, absolutely.
Good investment? Personally, I think it will be more of a fad than a lasting product. Whether I'm right or not, I think the Dragons were wise to want a bigger share for their money. It's a pretty risky venture.

i think it would be more suited to a gondola type thing and if it took off they would have to adapt but good point for sure in the short term. I spent a lot of time in whistler mountain biking and we had to take our bikes up on the lifts and it works out ok there. Smaller hills around here might be an issue

the funniest part was the lamebrain woman who wanted megabucks to try & sell medical marijuana cupcakes. They were tough on her determined she had no sales & still wanted 250 K or something like that for essentially a bad idea, but she did not head their advise & then they really pasted her.

Then there was the arrogant hockey school franchise guy. What a tool

Interesting idea. However, the bikes on the website have disc brakes. If you replace the front tire with the ski, you essentially have no front brake anymore. Not sure I'd want to be flying down a double black diamond run with just a rear brake. I imagine that with a Rim brake system, that still wouldn't work either.
