A strong section of the U.S Economy was supported by credit sales....cards are maxed ..buying on credit to that extreme is done....these jobs are not coming back.They should have not been there in the first place.No Politician of either colour will ever utter such a thing though.

He's likely right. When 2% of the population's taking in 25% of the income, and making ten times more compared to the average than they did twenty-five years ago, then a whole whack of folks have to be earning nothing, or close to. But so what?

The real unemployment rate is over 20% if you take into account people that have given up looking for jobs and people that are underemployed. Anybody that thinks our current economic policies are going to improve the unemployment rate is an idiot. We have shipped all of our high paying jobs offshore. What we do well is allow other countries to dig large holes in the ground and export the profits. Your children will be prostitutes or Wallmart greeters. Welcome to the New World Order.
