The irony in people hating the Canadian flag is wild.
There was a prominent leftist on here who said she didn't know how she felt about people who had the Canadian flag displayed outside their homes.

I have marched in a parade (NT Canal Fest) carrying a Canadian flag. I no more support the blockade/convoy crew than I support the Donald when he speaks in front of a row of American flags. Flag waving is a fascist tactic going back many years...

The Canadian Flag - like most national flags - is still a broad enough symbol that just flying it only gives you limited information about the person.
That Joe Rogan is pretending to be too stupid to understand that "Freedom and the Flag" are used by the Far Right in an effort to co-opt those as if they belong to them is what it is, I guess.
Has flying the flag become a sign where anyone doing it is far right now, no.
It's contextual. Which is why the "they are demonizing anyone flying the Canadian Flag" is a tactic they are using.
