These guys are in a league of their own. Clearly the best in the business by a long shot. I fully expect they'll go undefeated this year and win the SB easily. IMHO, they're one of the very best in league history, and nobody will touch them this year. Today's game was no contest, and they're playing with a 3rd string running back. Its over baby.

No, they absolutely will not go undefeated.

Yes, they look as if they are in another league but undefeated and win the super bowl easy ????

At 6-0 ??

They still need another 13 wins and it ain't as easy as you think .

Indy will beat them in week 9 at Indy and the Pat's weak schedule leading into the playoffs will hurt them I think. Whoever wins the AFC wins the Superbowl thats for sure.

Who said it would be easy. They may lose a game or two, depending on injuries, but it won't be because of being unprepared or having a mental letdown. They said the same thing about the Dolphins when they went undefeated, and they were a similar type team. They're the most disciplined and well prepared team in professional sports. And by the way, I'm definitely not a Pats fan, just recognizing their obvious talent.

Also, there is the real possibility that they will lose the last game or 2 at the end of the season when they sit Brady, and maybe even Moss.

And one can only hope they'll lose to the Bills at the Ralph...

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaa... but seriously.. it would be cool.

First of all , it was you that said it was easy !

Secondly, if they lose ''a game or two'', that means that will not be undefeated !!!!!

Lastly, just because ''they '' said whatever that does not mean they will go undefeated.

...you did.

"I fully expect they'll go undefeated this year and win the SB easily."

I wouldn't crown them quite yet...I say the Colts are probably wondering when they will get some recognition as the reigning Super Bowl champs....don't be surprised if they look to make a point on 4 November...

I think the Pats are number 1 as well, but I don't think the delta between them and the rest of the league is as large as you think...

I personally like the Colts. They have a better defense than the Pats.

Watching the Dallas/New England game was probably some of the most entertaining football I've seen all season. Well, Next to the Browns against the Bengals.

I guess you got me there.. What I was saying was basically that they will win easily in terms of their superiority over other teams, but that winning is never easy as far as playing a very tough and physical sport goes, and the effort they put into their winning performance is not easy...its very difficult and requires much hard work, which in turn makes it easy to beat other teams. So getting to the point where you can beat other teams easily, is never easy...its actually quite difficult. Hope that explains easy vs. easily.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we.

Wow...

They have looked awesome. I think that the real test will be when they play the Colts.

Sun 9/9/2007 1:00 PM @ Jets 38-14 W
Sun 9/16/2007 8:15 PM vs Chargers 38-14 W
Sun 9/23/2007 1:00 PM vs Bills 38-7 W
Mon 10/1/2007 8:30 PM @ Bengals 34-13 W
Sun 10/7/2007 1:00 PM vs Browns 34-17 W
Sun 10/14/2007 4:15 PM @ Cowboys 48-27 W

They have played some good teams (Bengals, Chargers and Cowboys)... But neither the Bengals or my Chargers are living up to expectations. I had thought that Dallas were overrated earlier this year... but now I am not so sure.

The addition of Adalius Thomas on defence was awesome, but the receiving corps is amazing. The addition of Moss was great, but Welker is really shining with this team as well.

Lets see how well they hold it together as the hype machine rolls on.... I think this is the best thing for the Colts.. As defending Champs, no one is talking about them...

Well, today's game has done nothing to convince me that the Pats will not go undefeated. Had to laugh at several pre game comments by the experts, stating that the Skins will be the best defence they've faced so far this year. Yeah right...52 points later. They went through the Skins defense like a hot knife through butter. I have little doubt they'll beat the Colts, but should be a fun game to watch.

I listened to those idiots, and picked the Skins to cover in my football pool...

In the past, giving team 17 points in an NFL game was very rare!!! So I keep taking the underdogs against the Pats...
