I just got back from Paris and I'm sure you have seen and heard of the riotes.
What is troubling is that this is only the tip of the iceberg!
That all over France and other European countries, they are on the verge of the same troubles.
Can I say, will it happen in Canada?
The root cause is countries (people) not accepting other people (different people) into their society.
In France in the sixites and seventies they built hundreds of housing (ghettos) mostly outside of Paris for North African muslims. Today there are over "Four Million" people living in these ghettos! Think about it four million people, more peole then all of Toronto!
The French called these places the "Sensitive Place". Belive it or not but over the years these places have been ignored by the goverment, there is hardly any goverment services, infructures or adequate schooling and the jobless rate is double the rest of France and I could add a lot more! A true shame!
What is the future for these kids, when most their fathers, grandfathers never worked, not that they didn't want to, but there was no jobs for them or offered to them!
BUT the WORST, is that most of these people are third or fourth generation French, who have never been or have any idea of what it is like to live in North Africa, they are FRENCH. Born of parents or grand parents who came to France for a better life. A better life which was never there! But the French goverment and most French people still consider them as North Africans and treat them as second class citizen!
It is a shame that the colour of your skin, how you look or religion would make you a ture citizen of a country!
But understand, France is not alone in doing this, do we also have to look in our own back yard, what is Canada's future!
