Juno Awards - what an embarasmsent

I just PVR'd my way through the Juno awards - Wow, was I glad I had recorded it. The show was an embarrassment, even Russel Peters, who I think is one of the funniest guys around today was lousy.

The music(and I call it that very loosley) sucked - watching our Canadian "talent" try to be something they are not was pitiful.

The shame is we have a lot of talented people in this country but you would never know it by what presented themselve on this shiw.

Just my opinion - take it for what it's worth.

I can't STAND awards shows because of the NON-STOP ANNOYING screaming of young girls. GODDAMN that has to be the most frustrating noise on the planet!!!!!!!!

Solely for that reason I stopped watching what to me seemed like a pretty good show. I guarantee the audience for the Juno's would quadruple overnight if they limited the number of young girls in attendance at the thing.

Seems the girl screaming is almost on cue at most of these shows including Idol etc Drives me nuts too. No need for it.

Well since it is a recorded audio sound track of screaming, that the audio engineer can add in whenever the producer wants, it sort of is on cue.
